Fake*Trade players get $100,000 virtual dollars to invest in stocks traded in the US market (NYSE, NASDAQ and AMEX exchanges). All player portfolios are visible to other players and there is a player feed allowing you to track buying/selling patterns through the day.

As the game starts picking up more players I'm working on an stock suggestion service based on their buying selling patterns that I'll make available for free to players.
